Territory of operations
The territory of operations of the Gas Metering and Regulating Stations Maintenance Department comprises the central and eastern part of Poland (up to the border with Belarus). In addition to the headquarters in Warsaw, the Department has a local branch in Radom (former county capital).
Besides, the Department keeps 12 local teams on duty (2 persons in each of them) in the main towns in the region. They are completely equipped with means of communication, transportation and servicing tools. In such a way our workers can, in case of emergency, reach each of the stations in maximum 1-hour time.
Our offer for owners of gas metering and regulating stations
On request from owners the Department operates and maintains private (community or factory-owned) gas metering and regulating stations. We prepare offers separately for individual customers, monthly charge depends on the capacity of the station, its condition, equipment, spare parts and required repair kits prices and the scope of jobs on order.
The utmost scope comprises a weekly inspection of the station, twice-yearly test and regulation of the equipment in the station, and a complete review of the station once a year. During the review all the equipment is disassembled and checked. Worn elements or elements recommended for replacement by manufacturer after a defined period are replaced. We keep the records as required by law and safety regulations and we guarantee that in case of emergency our team will reach the station in less than 1-hour time. With such procedure we maintain the safest way of gas supplying and safe, failure free operation at lowest hazard and take the whole responsibility for the station operation.
In the case of a limited range of maintenance, we offer two tests with regulation and one review of the station a year; or, in the most limited version: one review in a year. In these cases, the costs represent labour, transportation, and spare parts. The emergency team can be sent (for a charge) on the first working day.
In the case of the old and neglected gas stations, when we cannot take responsibility for their operation, we first offer the general overhaul, which brings the station to a proper operational and legal state, and only then decide to take the full responsibility for the station.
Personnel
The Department employs well-educated and experienced specialists in the domain of gas stations, gas pipelines and gas measuring techniques, together 90 persons. Regular training keeps the personnel up with technological progress in gas industry. All the employees hold necessary licensees enabling the work or supervision of work on operative (under pressure) gas pipelines and equipment. |
